Welcome!
Thanks for visiting Never Say Never Travel Adventures Page! This site documents our vacations, weekenders, and general outdoor escapades.
When we got married, we decided to make some life goals, one of which was to visit every National Park in the US. Now, in addition, we are trying to see as much of this world as we can manage. A whole new part of the world has opened up to us since moving to topical Queensland Australia.

About Us
I'm Sunnie and that handsome fella' next to me is Peter. We met in high school, after both of our Air Force fathers moved to O'Fallon, IL. We connected instantly with our love of exploring/travel, I expect that stems from growing up aboard (Peter - Germany two years, Sunnie - Germany two years and Japan five and a half) and never really having a "home town."
After high school we both went to university to study engineering (Sunnie - Civil, Peter - Mining) while on scholarships and spent our breaks backpacking/camping our way through America's best Idea - the National Parks.
Once we graduated, Sunnie took a job with the Air Force in Colorado and Peter took a mining job in northern Wyoming. However, after six months there, Peter was given the opportunity of a lifetime - a job offer to Queensland, Australia. After a lot of pro/con lists Peter took the job and fell in love with the Aussie lifestyle while I stayed in Colorado and fell in love with mountains. However, after 4 years apart I left the mountains and move to 'the land down under.'
We are now enjoying ourselves slowly exploring Oceania/Asia and spending a fair amount of time lapping up the surf, sun, and sand on the Whitsunday islands.
